Quaker Quest:
Simple, Radical, Contemporary

Quakers believe that the Light of the Spirit illuminates a gathered group as well as the individual human heart. Find out more about who Quakers are, experience Quakers through our Faith and our Practice, hear why being a Quaker matters to us, talk to each other and with us about Quaker faith put to action.

Come Find Out

Join us in a series of informal presentations, discussions and questions, with time to meet new people, experience a Quaker Meeting, browse literature, and look inside the meetinghouse.

Sunday afternoons, 1:30–4:00 pm

  • October 24 — Quakers and Spirituality
Find out how Quakers seek and find wholeness and harmony with the world, using our inward-focused spiritual practice as a way to discern God's will for us.
  • October 31 —Quakers, Non-Violence, Peace
In a world torn by strife and violence, the Quakers' commitment to love and peaceful resolution of conflict is a beacon of light. Learn how we resolve conflict via peace witness.
  • November 7 —Quakers and Daily Life
Quakers believe that the Light illuminates us all, and we seek to nurture and support the best we find in each other. Discover ways to focus your daily attention on what is essential and eternal in spite of the distractions that life brings.

Sessions begin with light refreshments. Childcare is available.

Free parking is available for Quaker Quest attendees in the Meetinghouse lot, entered from the east side of Fourth Street. (Directions.)
